3 laws of motion

  • Who is Sir Isaac Newton?
Sir Isaac Newton was a physicists and mathematician who was born in December 25th 1642. Sir Isaac Newton worked in many areas in mathematics and physics. In 1686 he presented his 3 laws in the ¨ Principia Mathematica Philosophiae Naturalis ".

  • Explain the 3 Laws
The 3 laws discovered by Sir Isaac Newton are,Inertia , force and equal & opposite. The first law instates that an object at rest will remain at rest unless acted by an unbalanced force. The second law force is when a object with mass can change its velocity ( which includes to be moving from a state at rest ). The third law equal and opposite, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. For example if i was to bounce on a trampoline the action is when i jump on to the trampoline and the opposite reaction is me bouncing up .

  • How did the game ‘inertia ball’ demonstrate Newton’s Laws?
Inertia ball is a game that explains all 3 newtons laws. The aim of the game is to throw a ball with the most mass at the big ball in the middle. The first law inertia was demonstrated when the big ball didn't move until you hit it. The second law was demonstrated by throwing the ball with the biggest mass at the big ball to make it move. The third law was demonstrated by throwing the ball at the big ball which is the action and the reaction is when the ball rebounds of the big ball.
